MESSAGE:Every wave of the sea

As it rises

Seems to be

Stretching its hands upwards

As if to say

Take me up higher and higher

As extreme weather conditions, flooding and rising sea levels become more common place, I fear that we are not doing enough to ensure that our planet will be habitable for humans. Homes will be lost to the sea.

I call on world leaders to stop funding fossil fuel companies and instead fund green energy production.

I have sewn this patch using darning thread given to me by my grandmother over 20 years ago. I have used it to darn many socks, to repair many holes. I ask our leaders to repair the damage done to our planet, to  introduce new laws to ensure that future generations can live on a clean, green, safe planet.
