MESSAGE:
Here is my patch for the Coat of Hopes.

It represents the wildflower meadow in a park near my home where I walk my dogs.  At its peak it is a riot of colour, a joy to see and a haven for bees and butterflies.

The patch itself is made of a piece of my late father’s favourite fleece and I wanted a little piece of him to go on the journey.

The ‘floating’ butterfly has been taken from a beautiful garland given to me by a dear friend more years ago than I care to think and represents friendship and love.

My hopes are for love, friendships and an environment that can sustain us all the way ahead to future generations.

I have really enjoyed being a small part of this project.
