Patch 055

PATCH MAKER: Thursday House group from Christ Church
LOCATION: Milton keynes
MESSAGE:
We came together one evening over Zoom to discuss the Coat of Hopes project and to gather everyone's ideas, then used the phrases, symbols and colours of hope we'd come up with to create 'A Pocket Full of Hopes'. Our individual years of birth are stitched around the pocket as we span quite an age range - from 1937 to 1999 - and this is reflected in the different environmental issues and life events we discussed. The pocket contains words we want to say to the world leaders; we would like them to truly understand the burden of humanity's hopes for the future, and the expectations we have that they will act and make good decisions on our behalf.
