Patch 81

MESSAGE:

This was inspired by church yesterday. The reading was on gifts of the spirit and the body of Christ. The family slot was make up a body from cut out head legs etc. I put the lips on the knees and the thought came in answer to the question why, "speak the journey". 

I've had a convoluted journey with many valley or pit experiences. This has enabled me to journey alongside others with compassion and understanding. The suffering has been given meaning. 2 Corinthians 3:18

New International Version

18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

The patch is bare, as is my soul before God. The buttons are honouring seasons in my life. The beads mark the way, it's really uncomfortable to walk on but there is beauty in it. The gaps represent times when God seems to hide his face but he is right there in the centre, represented by the daisy.
