Be a Patch Gatherer

If everyone is to be included, they have to be invited.

Could you help us to find groups and individuals whose voices you would like to see represented on the coat?

The role of Patch Gatherer is to invite people in your networks and locality to make patches.

We want the coat to be made up of patches from a diversity of communities and stories and are looking for patch gathers along the length of the coat’s route to help us connect with as wide a range of different groups and people as possible.

The Patch Gatherer will also be a collection point for patches made in their locality and they will invite their patch makers to the nearest stitching stop event, with details of when and where it is.

If you feel you could gather patches and invite people into this process, we will be here to help! We plan to have Patch Gatherer zoom meetings so we can support each other and share ideas.
